We
have recently added a flexible endoscope to our diagnostic regimen
making Judd Veterinary Clinic one of the few clinics in the area with
this capability. |
Also,
we can evaluate the upper gastrointestinal tract of dogs and cats when
presented for vomiting or other GI symptoms. Many dogs and cats swallow
foreign objects and now these objects can be visualized and some removed
without surgery.  Foals with signs of stomach ulcers can also be evaluated with our endoscope. Colonoscopy and biopsy can be evaluated with our endoscope. Colonoscopy and biopsies can be performed with all animals with chronic diarrhea. |
This equipment allows us to examine the internal structures of the
upper respiratory tract of horses with breathing problems that effect
their performance. We can also examine the respiratory tract of most
dogs as well.
